Founder & Executive Director – Isack Danford
Isack is a graduate of the University of Dodoma in Tanzania, where he focused on Bachelor of Arts (International Relations). He joined the liberty movement following a conference by Students and Young Professional African Liberty Academy (SYPALA) in August, 2010 at the University of Dodoma, and co-founded the African Liberty Students Organization-University of Dodoma Chapter. Isack is also a former Charter Team Leader for Students For Liberty in Tanzania from June 2013 to May 2014 also a former Executive Board Member for African Students For Liberty serving from May 2014 to June 2015. In the future, Isack hopes to be a prominent businessman. His main interests are public policy and enterprise development.
Administrative Assistant – Morilyn Wambui
Morilyn pursued Finance Management at Learn IT institute of Business and Technology in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. She started being involved in the liberty movement early 2014 following a conference; East African Regional Conference organized by Students For Liberty. She is dedicated to youth and women empowerment, entrepreneurship and volunteerism. She has been volunteering with various NGO’s including Tanzania Students For Liberty and Change Mind Change Future since 2013 after being a volunteer peer teacher in Rukenya Secondary. She is also a former team leader with Girls’ up Initiative that she and other volunteers steers to see the vulnerable girl child empowered. Her interests are empowerment, advocating liberty, entrepreneurship, volunteerism and human rights activism which she hopes to take to a higher level. In future Morilyn hopes to be a great business woman.
Projects Development Officer – Carlson Mutajwaa
Carlson is a young-motivated development practitioner with strong leadership abilities. He spent past few years working with parliamentarians among other prominent government officials, business personalities and other key development stakeholders in his effort to attain personal and national goals in regards to sustainable development. He is a risk taker who embraces the core values of equality for all, integrity and growth. He is the former Class Representative of International Relations class from May 2011- July 2013 at the University of Dodoma where he pursued his bachelor degree in International Relations. Carlson is also a former Secretary General of Nkenge Foundation Trust Fund from Sept 2013- April 2014. Carlson joined the liberty movement following the annual regional students for liberty conference in Nairobi 2014. In the future, Carlson aspire to become salient international development practitioner advocating for economic,social and environmental well-being for all.
Education Projects Supervisor – Evans Exaud
Evans is a graduate of the University of Dodoma in Tanzania, where he focused on Bachelor of Arts (International Relations). He joined the liberty movement following a conference by Students and Young Professional African Liberty Academy (SYPALA) in August, 2010 at the University of Dodoma, and co-founded the African Liberty Students Organization-University of Dodoma Chapter serving as an Assistant Secretary General. Evans is also work as Secretary General for Salama foundation 2014-to date, a youth organization aimed on advocating for youth empowering . He also served as Chair Person for Youths of the United Nations (YUNA) Dodoma chapter in 2011. In the future, Evans is ambitious to establish the Institute of Free Market Policies, to help and support local entrepreneur and politician toward free market liberation. He is interested in becoming writer and public speaker in advocating for freedom.
Policy Projects Supervisor – Alexander Mtweve
Alexander is a graduate of Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Dodoma (2013) – Tanzania. He joined liberty movements when studying at the University as a human rights activist before joining Uhuru Initiative for Policy & Education-UIPE as Policy Projects Supervisor to further the liberty cause. He intends to influence particularly East African countries policy frameworks towards greater freedom through research, publications, education and advocacy.
