    We are proud to announce that our Executive Director, Isack Danford is among a handful individuals chosen to participate in the 2015 Think Tank Shark Tank Competition during the Liberty Forum & Dinner in New York this November.

  2. We are celebrating one year!

    In the past one year UIPE has managed to hold the first ever Economic Freedom of Tanzania Conference also it has just completed the Uhuru Leadership Academy with more than 30 graduates. To celebrate one year of such activities UIPE held the first Uhuru Leadership Forum & Dinner attended by Uhuru Leadership Academy graduates, SYPALA alumni and leaders of other libertarian organizations from Kenya and Malawi.

    Another group of very important attendees of the Uhuru Forum & Dinner were graduates of the 2015 Uhuru Leadership Academy whereby all attendees got a chance to pitch their mission statements in-front of a panel of judges who comprised of SYPALA alumni.

  4. More than 30 youths complete leadership for liberty training

    Among the topics delivered during the first day of training includes the Introduction to Liberty, Importance of Liberty, How Markets Work, Free Trade, Taxation & Government Spending, Property Rights, Why Governments Fail and Role of Governments.

  5. 2015 Economic Freedom of Tanzania Conference focuses on roadblocks to trade

    Uhuru Initiative for Policy and Education – UIPE held it’s first Annual Economic Freedom of Tanzania Conference to analyze and debate the corner stones of economic freedom namely personal choice, voluntary exchange coordinated by markets, freedom to enter and compete in markets, as well as protection of persons and their property from aggression by others.

    Uhuru Initiative for Policy and Education – UIPE is a brain child of a young man by the name Isack C. Danford following a four years journey which began at the Students and Young Professionals African Liberty Academy (SYPALA) in 2010 at the University of Dodoma in Tanzania.
